Utility/Heavy Equipment Operators
BNI Coal, Ltd., a BNI Energy company and subsidiary of ALLETE, Inc. with locations in Bismarck & Center, ND is now accepting applications for the following positions at the Center Mine, Center, ND: Utility/Heavy Equipment Operators.
Responsibilities:
- General labor as a utility/heavy equipment operator including
- Operate and maintain large mining equipment
- Pump water and maintain pumps, and assist mechanics
- Must be proficient in operating large mining equipment and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Shift work.
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; valid driver’s license, 3 years’ work experience. Two year college degree may be substituted for 2 years work experience. Experience in operating large construction/earth moving equipment is required. Experience with electrical, welding, dragline maintenance, or diesel mechanics are preferred but not required. Computer skills desired. Probationary wage is $39.85/hour, minimum $49.82/hour after 6 month probationary period.
